Bound Together in Friendship

Blog drawing:

Answer the following question and email it to bwegner@itinutah.com.  The question will only be posted on the blog, so look at the blog, then email the answer to the question to me.  Hopefully those that haven't been able to write on the blog will be able to take part in our drawing still.

The question is:

Who taught you how to sew or quilt and how old were you?

Let's Party!

We made it through another year
and to celebrate all the cool things we learned and made,
we threw a party!

We had super yummy food,

hand painted favors by Amber, cookies,
and more yummy food :0)

We even had a super sweet Hot Chocolate Bar, YUM!

Now, we couldn't just stop there,
we even had the Midway Bell Players come
play the Carol of the Bells for us.

And if that wasn't enough,
we still had Sew and Tell...

Tamara started off with some doll clothes and blankets
she made for her daughter for Christmas.

Then Carol (?? why do we hid such pretty faces??)
brought in her finished quilt
that matches one she made in red...she says she is not making any more!

Someone also brought in a finished round robin.
Way to go everyone who worked on this.  Beautiful!!!

Nita brought in a set of table runners
that change with each month.

Michelle has been very busy with trying out new bags.
This time she has one crocheted one and one fabric one.

Colleen brought in a wall hanging that she was happily
able to finish in time for Christmas.

She also brought in her Thanksgiving wall hanging
she has been working on.

Colleen also had a Christmas advent calendar
that she was almost done with.
(sorry for the fuzzy pic)

Barb brought in a cute pillow.
Love the tractors!!

We also had a quilt or two that we had shown off,
but I don't remember whose they are...so
if you recognize them, let me know!

Kit brought her finished quilt in.  Love the colors!

She also brought in a picture box with frosting flowers that she made.
They look too pretty to eat!!

It is finished!! Beth was able to get her sailboat quilt done
and ready to give to her friends in Alaska.
Way to go Beth!!

Amber, our incredible president,
finished this quilt top in her free time.
Love it!!

She also did some stitchwork
on a blanket for the holidays.

And, if you haven't seen her house, drive on by...
It is a cute gingerbread and brick house that just needed
a little something to sweeten it up :0)
She made this candy (sorry kids, not real)
and hung it up on her house.

Last, but not least...
Our president's quilt

Great job ladies for making these for Amber.

Thanks so much Amber for being such an
AWESOME PRESIDENT and FRIEND!!!

AND a special thanks to all those who helped out this year!!!

We also have a HUGE welcome to our new president, Sally Siggard,
and her board.  We can't wait to see what fun things you bring to guild!
