So the BOM (block of the Month) to make in April and hand back in in May is a bird house.

Aprils Meeting
We had a fun night even though we were few in numbers.
State Quilt Fest opportunity quilt. You can get ticket's for the raffle at Quilt fest in October that will be at Zermatt Resort. The quilt is all hand quilted. Also the state is doing a charity project are are trying to get baby quilt nothing bigger than 45 X 60 and has to fit into a 2 1.2 gallon zip lock bag for police officers. Heber police and Summit police both want 25 each and the state in general wants over 700 of these quilts. They are for the officers to carry in their vehicles and when there is an accident or other situations when a child has to be removed from a home they will have these quilt to give the child. I hope we can all help. This is for a great cause. You have 2 month to do them. Any questions call Barb Murdock our area state rep.

Susan made this cute iron carrier. It has heat resistant fabric on the inside so you place your iron in it when it is still hot.
She made this "I'm so glad that you are my Dad" quilt as part of Seasons of Home's BOW. Her cats gave it to her husband for his birthday.

Susan Made the "Home sweet Home" quilt as a BOM at American quilting. She is doing this beautiful wool applique' block and this is her table runner from Seasons of Home's quilt book club. Susan you have been busy.
Margaret made this memory quilt out of denim and embroidered things about her daughter and her husband on it.

Tricia made these cute flannel quilts. One for her son who is going on an LDS mission and the other one for her dad.
Michele made a skirt for her daughter and an apron.
Sally gave out the instructions for the design challenge. You can still bring your 2 inch half square triangles to next meeting if you want to do the challenge. Sounds like a fun one.
