Aprils Meeting

We had a fun night even though we were few in numbers.

State Quilt Fest opportunity quilt. You can get ticket's for the raffle at Quilt fest in October that will be at Zermatt Resort.  The quilt is all hand quilted.  Also the state is doing a charity project are are trying to get baby quilt nothing bigger than 45 X 60 and has to fit into a 2 1.2 gallon zip lock bag for police officers.  Heber police and Summit police both want 25 each and the state in general wants over 700 of these quilts.  They are for the officers to carry in their vehicles and when there is an accident or other situations when a child has to be removed from a home they will have these quilt to give the child.  I hope we can all help.  This is for a great cause.  You have 2 month to do them.  Any questions call Barb Murdock our area state rep.
