June Sew and Tell

June's Sew and Tell was wonderful and plentiful since we didn't have a regular guild meeting in May to show the fabulous things we had made for the past few months. Thanks ladies for inspiring us all!

Cathy's fun naptime quilt and pillow pattern that she made up and is now reaping the benefits because she gets to sell the patterns now! Good Job Cathy!

Either Kami or Debbie made this one using Kim Shannon's pattern and fabrics ( I think!). Visit Kim's fabric store, there is a link to the right.

Kami and Debbie made this one for Kim Shannon. Kim has kits of this fun and crazy horse print quilt made up!

Kami's cute Take 5 Quilt she made for Kim's online store. You use 5 different prints to make this one.

Linda's- Linda had to leave guild meeting early so Kami and Debbie showed this one for her. It was made to donate to our charity quilt program. Thanks Linda!

Debbie made this one of Mary Engelbrite's fabrics up for Kim's online store also. Natalia quilted it and it turned out so cute! Kits available at Kim's store!

Liz brought the cutest project that she made in 1970 as a 4H project. It was a quilt and the cutest pillowcases. She just labeled the quilt, so she brought it to share with us. She said she won a blue ribbon at the county fair and a red ribbon at the state fair. Thanks Liz!

Jenny's first personal machine quilting adventure! She made this cute pattern called Stacked Coins for a new baby she is expecting in July. So cute and the quilting is great!

Beth said she has been busy finishing up old projects and this is one of them. It is a darling spool pattern and I think she donated this one to our charity quilt project. There were many quilts donated as charity quilts this time around, good job ladies!

This one was made for Beth's daughter for college. The picture doesn't do it justice, it is really pinks not peaches and it is darling.

Nita has been busy making the cutest bags for her grandchildren. They are darling and she said they are using them as swimming and pool bags.

Hooray for Bethany, she brought her hand applique project she finished that we started when Marilyn Toone visited our guild and taught us her little secrets of applique.

Barbara has been busy also. I can't remember the story behind this quilt, but it is so fun!

I think this one is a friendship block quilt that she put together from the blocks she received from our friendship block exchange.

Barbara's kaleidoscope quilt that she started at the retreat in May is finished! Good Job Barbara!

This cute sampler is the one that Deonn is using as she teaches a beginning quilt class at UVU this summer, so very darling.

Deonn's GORGEOUS Mexican star.

Deonn's cute carpet bags, she has kits for these ladies!

Deonn's friend Sue came to guild meeting and showed us her beautiful Samoan inspired works. She recently lived in Samoa for a few years and came home and got busy sewing! Thanks for sharing with us Sue!

Barbara's fun Autumn inspiring quilt, she said she started this a few years ago and has now just finished it. Good Job Barbara!

Michele's amazing color washed, color gradation, or whatever that gift of hers is called- she has an amazing color sense.

Sherron's very fun and modern quilt, recently back from the quilter. So pretty!
Ladies, sew and tell occurred about 3 weeks ago. My brain is good but not that good, so please inform me of any mistakes or deletions that I have made. Leave a comment and set me straight! Thanks for your beautiful work!
